Therapeutic Healing Hands

Our therapeutic massage is designed to treat the root of the problem. It incorporates a variety of massage modalities, including heat and cold techniques as well as firm, medium and  light pressure. This massage is tailored to your needs and is designed to get you feeling good again, yay!

STRETCHING THERAPY
Improves flexibility by creating an increased range of motion around each joint. In the body, there’s a beautiful balance of stability and mobility, and if you can find that perfect balance where the joints are completely stable throughout the range of motion, you build a body that’s least susceptible to injury.

MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
MLD is not a Massage!! MLD is a gentle touch. MLD treats the  accumulation of protein-rich fluid in the superficial tissues. It has important pathological and clinical consequences for the patient if left untreated.  In such cases the swelling may appear after simple accidents such as sports injuries, which can suddenly overload the lymphatic system.

Long term untreated it can develop Lymphedema. Lymphadema is often caused by trauma to the lymphatic system, such as surgery, injury, scarring, infection and radiation therapy. Post-mastectomy lymphedema of the upper extremity caused by breast cancer treatment is very common in the United States.

CUPPING MASSAGE
Cupping is a modern adaptation of the ancient art of cupping therapy. While massage performed by applying pressure, cupping instead uses negative pressure to pull, lift, open and expand the body’s soft tissues.

HOT STONE MASSAGE
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering
